Introducing PreventEd, Risk Prevention and Education
According to the CDC, tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable disease, disability, and death in the United States. Among middle school and high school students who currently use e-cigarettes, 25.2% used e-cigarettes daily, and 89.4% used flavored e-cigarettes. We are empowering schools and families to tackle critical issues surrounding substance abuse prevention, tobacco and vaping prevention, and intervention programs.
Designed with the well-being of our youth in mind, this area of programming will provide valuable resources and support to facilitate open and informed discussions on these important topics. Through evidence-based strategies and proactive initiatives, we’re dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy choices and navigate challenges effectively.
Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to get involved.

Second Chance
The Second Chance program offers schools and community organizations a non-punitive, early intervention tool for responding to tobacco and vaping infractions.
The web-based, self-directed program is designed to increase students’ knowledge about tobacco/vaping laws and health effects; their skills to resist; and motivation to quit.
The program is designed for middle and high school students.
A demonstration of the program can be viewed HERE.
