More people, more power
Collective Impact is the idea that no single organization can solve large-scale issues and create social change alone.
What Is Collective Impact?
It involves the commitment of a group of change agents from different sectors to work towards a common agenda. Meaningful results happen thanks to five key components of Collective Impact: A common agenda/shared vision, shared measurement, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and a backbone organization.
Our Partners
It is through Collective Impact that our work to help get kids more active, healthier, happier, and learning better becomes part of a movement.
Active Schools
Active Schools, whose organizational home is within Action for Healthy Kids, is dedicated to making it easier for schools to create an active school environment that provides students with at least 60 minutes a day of physical education and physical activity. They do it by supporting schools in their current reality by serving as a hub for best practices, programs and resources, as well as
driving education system and policy change. The Active Schools movement is powered by more than 90 public and private sector partner organizations and 37,000 individual champions affiliated with more than 23,000 schools that serve over 13 million students.

CATCH Global Foundation
In 2019, we teamed up with CATCH Global Foundation to reach nearly half of U.S. schools. CATCH improves children’s health worldwide by developing, disseminating and sustaining the CATCH platform and linking underserved schools to the necessary resources to create change for future generations. By bringing together CATCH’s programming and our model for integrating schools, families, and communities in Whole Child health, we will multiply the effect of grant funding, complementary resources, curriculum implementation, and programmatic support in schools and communities where they can have the greatest impact.
